Coolbinia Bombers Hosts AFLW Season Launch

The Coolbinia Bombers Junior Football Club hosted the West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Dockers Football Club’s for the 2021 AFLW Season Launch earlier this week.

Both AFL clubs came together for a joint media opportunity at Coolbinia Reserve after the announcement of the AFLW Fixtures.

2021 Junior Season Dates Confirmed

The WAFC Central Conference & Metro Central Regional Development Council is pleased to announce the 2021 Youth and Junior season dates for the Demons, Royals and Swans Districts.

The 2021 Junior Football season will revert back to 14 Home and Away Rounds, with a 3 week Finals Series for Youth Teams (Year 7+).

Hughes to Lead the Royals District in 2021 and 2022

The Metro Central Regional Development Council and West Australian Football Commission is pleased to announce that East Perth Junior Club Delegate, Shaun Hughes has re-committed to the District for 2 more years. Grassroot Grant Success at Bayswater Bears

Bayswater Junior Football Club were there lucky recipients of a $10,000 Grassroots Grant courtesy of Gatorade Australia. 

Natalie Stoute, a very humble behind the scenes supporter and parent at the ‘Bears’ provided a 150 word submission as part of the grant application process, which featured a rhyme that incorporated the club song.

Bakari Royals Shoot for the Stars

The Royals District is again seeking to dip its toe in the multicultural space with the delivery of the Bakari Royals program at Britannia Reserve. The Nicky Winmar Carnival saw a stunning performance by the Royals District at Bendigo Bank Stadium on the 1st March.
